Kshitij is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Uma Mane and her three friends. Initially focused on student personality development, Kshitij soon expanded to work with parents, teachers, and communities to support comprehensive child development.

Recognizing the importance of collaboration, Kshitij partners with government agencies, including anganwadis, schools, and residential institutions, to reach grassroots levels. Their expertise in child development has led to invitations from various platforms as experts in the field.

Beyond project implementation, Kshitij offers training to help other organizations set and achieve their project goals. The trustees continually strive to enhance the organization's impact.

Registered as a public trust, Kshitij relies on public donations and provides its services to schools and students free of charge.
