Our Work

Kshtij has worked on many projects throughout the year to promote child development and healthy parenting/teaching practices. Here's a list of some projects we've completed in the past 27 years.

Project Bharari, Saswad 

Realizing the need to learn life skills along with studies in school life, the organization has started this project. In which the organization is trying to develop the personality of school students by conducting sessions with student groups on problem solving, communication skills, rational thinking, decision-making ability.

Lectures on Awareness Building

Our founder, Mrs. Uma Mane conducts trainings at various schools, communities and conferences to talk about parenting practices, life skills etc. We have presented talks at goovernment levels as well.

Palak Sanwad

It's a need-based support provided to the Government ICDS department for capacity building of Anganwadi workers to strengthen parenting practices in their respective areas. Anganwadi workers develop awareness of Parenting topics and develop skills to conduct sessions with the parents on a monthly basis on Parenting.

Project Bharari, Sangli

The organization strives to enhance the skills of students in Zilla Parishad schools by imparting training in music, sports, art-craft, life skills, acting and computers in addition to the school curriculum. In this Gram Panchayat is helping to implement this activity by paying the fee of each student

Project Montoring and Evaluation

Here, we work with NGOs to maintain the quality of their project. This includes monitoring the project by building a system for reports, planning, and capacity building. We also conduct strategy management workshops to help NGOs be more equipped to run projects.

These are Life skill development sessions. It contains group sessions on self-awareness, personality, relation-building, communication,

Bal Pragati Kendra

Bal Pragati Kendra is a physical space for children between birth to 6 years from disadvantaged communities. It is established to work in collaboration with the community decision-makers, parents, and Government ICDS authorities to facilitate the child development process in the community.

 

  • Project location – Bajrangwadi, Shikrapur, Yerawada Pune, Mulshi.

  • Direct Beneficiaries – Children between the age group of birth to six

  • Indirect beneficiaries- Parents, Service providers, community people, community-level decision makers, Government ICDS department service providers

2020-22

Covid Rehabilitation

During the Covid period, the organization worked to deliver food to needy people in many places. In which CSR is located in places like Pune, Mumbai, Shikrapur, Shirur, Velhe. Help was extended to 10,000 families through

2015-17

Pre-School Child Development

Through this project for the development of pre-school children, the organization works with children, parents and service providers to increase their effective participation in child development. It also provides development opportunities for children.

Strategic Management Course for NGOs

It is support session for NGO’s to develop program strategy. Training for capacity building of staff, monitoring and evaluation system development support etc.

IEC Material Development

Kshitij develops IEC material to support child development process. It includes posters, guide books, supportive syllabus, flash cards, language skill games.

1997-02

Sponsership

In this project, the organization provides financial assistance to poor, needy students for education and also provides counseling, career guidance to them. The organization starts providing assistance from primary education, it helps and guides the students till the completion of their education, thus not only the financial problems of the students are removed but also personal development is also taking place along with it.

2013-15

Sanwad Parivartan

Through this project, Uma Mane, president of the organization, worked as a consultant to counsel criminals with the police. Trained, assisted and mentored a team of counsellors. It made it possible to discourage them from criminal tendencies and rehabilitate them

Language Skill Development Program

These are support sessions for children from the age group of 6 to 12 years to develop their language skills like, reading, writing, communication, and comprehension skills.

 

  • Project location – Mutha valley, Mulashi.

  • Direct Beneficiaries – Children between the age group of 6 to 12 years

  • Indirect beneficiaries- Parents, Service providers, community people, community-level decision makers, Government Education department service providers

1997-98

Personality Development Program

This project was aimed at making school students aware of themselves. In which, by talking with them about many topics like me, my interest, my relationship, my dream, my friends, my point of view, they were able to identify themselves and travel with themselves etc.
